The php.ini file is the default configuration file for running applications that require PHP. It is used to control variables such as file upload size, file timeouts, and resource limits.
We recommend downloading archive with our default php.ini file, which includes default php settings for our shared hosting servers.
- Once the default php.ini is downloaded, login to your cPanel;
- Go to File Manager;
- Find “.system-php” folder on the left side of the page;
- navigate to “ini” folder and choose the version you currently have, here we will use php 5.3 as an example;
- choose the domain in question
- click “Upload” on the top of the page
- browse the file and upload it
- go back to File Manager and extract the file from the .zip
- choose this php.ini and click “Code Editor” to do the modifications if it is required
